The Peace Revolution Project was started in 2008 when someone pretty cool decided to start talking to the world about what he believed: Inner Peace can lead to World Peace, if people could just learn how to find inner peace for themselves! He got together with some other people who believed the same thing... and, well, here we are!

So... we have invented what we think is a chill way to have some fun with inner peace... aka meditation. We taped some meditation experts and you can check them out on MP3s; you can learn more about what inner peace really is; you can take a few fun quizzes; and then, if you want to get serious, you can do an on-line self-development program. You can even post questions on our Peace Wall for our online community. So hang back, and cruise the site. It's the best place to be.

Stage 2 - Inner Peace

“Inner Peace Time” is the core of the Peace Revolution. Throughout the program, we advise every participant to practice at least 30 minutes per day of “Inner Peace Time”. Many of you who have never meditated before will wonder what you are doing, why you are doing it, and/or what is the value of meditating. Please be open-minded and trust yourself! There is no right or wrong answer on this scale and meditation is, as they say, a win-win situation.

What to do in Stage 2?

Inner Peace Tracking Scale

The scale below is only to help you keep track of, or monitor, your “progress”. One day, you may feel super happy; the next day, you may feel nothing at all: It is vital that you do not have any expectations. Allow yourself to find contentment with the meditation experience itself. Do not worry about this! The most important thing to remember is that you are meditating every day and writing about it in your journal. This scale can be included in your journal, if you would like to do so, OR you can use it as a guide to help your journal writing. The two main points to remember in meditation are to find (1) stillness of mind and thought and (2) equanimity of feeling or emotion, both in a single-pointed concentration.
