The Peace Revolution Project was started in 2008 when someone pretty cool decided to start talking to the world about what he believed: Inner Peace can lead to World Peace, if people could just learn how to find inner peace for themselves! He got together with some other people who believed the same thing... and, well, here we are!

So... we have invented what we think is a chill way to have some fun with inner peace... aka meditation. We taped some meditation experts and you can check them out on MP3s; you can learn more about what inner peace really is; you can take a few fun quizzes; and then, if you want to get serious, you can do an on-line self-development program. You can even post questions on our Peace Wall for our online community. So hang back, and cruise the site. It's the best place to be.

Family IPT sharing peace wit our family

Why this OPS?

I choose this OPS because I am doing IPT with my children and we are all having such a good time together as a familiy, that I would love to share this experience with other families too, specially for new moms so they can start having IPT with thewir children when their are pregnant or when they are breastfeeding them.

Objectives

To share IPT with other people and to show them that they can have IPT as a family and the benefits it will bring this for their children. That family enviorment is a peacefull one.

How to implement it?

I will go on saturday to Pakari a place were they have a parent school, they give birth their and have prenatal classes. This saturay I am going to do my special OPS there.

Benefits

If your parents practive IPT everyday and you get to participe in this since you are a child this will be a normal practice in your life. In this way we are giving the child a great gift to learn to have IPT as a habit, as part of their culture. Families can have a peacefull enviorment wich is great for everyone.

Youth Forum

Why this OPS?

I chose this OPS because I am really passionate about young people in my city and I want a better opportunity for them to voice their concerns. i have been talking to quite a few youth in high schools and it seems like they all have similar concerns so on october 14th we (myself and the youth council I chair volentarily) are organising a youth forum between participants from different schools in the city.

Objectives

the objective it to get people talking about issues and things they are passionate about for young people, then empower them to make changes or advocate for themselves.

How to implement it?

Implementing it by running the forum at the local council chambers and providing dinner to participants, all free of charge. After the initial event on the 14th we are going to try have it every three months and keep communication going in between events regularly.

Benefits

Our city will have youth that are connected and unified, our council will be able to better engage with youth and have a better understanding of what issues we should be advocating
